Who's Jen?

Jennifer McCabe has been teaching, acting and directing for 32 years. Having performed over 80 roles, her acting has been praised by The New York Times, Variety, Broadway World, Theater Mania, nytheatre.com, etc.


As a second generation Lee Strasberg acting teacher, she consistently instills essential tools and techniques to thousands of actors. Jennifer also serves as a professor of acting and directing at Lehman College, NYU Tisch and Stonestreet Studios in their drama and film departments. Jennifer has taught workshops, classes and seminars in both the private and public sector all over the Tri-State area and consistently provides a transformational learning environment for all students.


Her unique approach and perspective as a practitioner to both foundational acting technique and specific on-camera training have afforded her the opportunity to distill with confidence and grace the necessary components to succeed as a working actor on stage and screen.


Jennifer McCabe Studios has two active locations. New York  City and the Hudson Valley. Both provide a transformational learning environment for each student.
